The pathway and doorway to an atelier flood with almost every rainfall here. But this is the patio garden, cast off by the house and ignored. Meanwhile, our property remains vulnerable to constant, yet avoidable, damage.

It rained heavily in Brussels tonight. Pounding rain for about ten minutes that soaked my balcony flowers and was a welcome relief to a soil that has not had rain in a couple of weeks.
